Metal is often hard, beautiful, valuable and blindingly reflective, much like the experiences of being a woman in your mid-20’s. Metallic Moods is a curated collection of 11 songs that portray the blistering emotions and impassioned opinions of artist Lia Lane.

12 Years Later slams climate change deniers and corporations contributing to the climate crisis. Those who abuse power are also called out with biting lyrics in See What I Saw, Season After Season and Bad Wolf.

In Something Wrong and Learn to Live Lia personally delves into the depths of depression and how it feels to battle the enemy of ones own mind. Somewhere New and The Green Side discuss the fine balance between ambition and satisfaction, resulting in homesickness.

You Say and Maybe I Don’t convey the frustration and uncertainty in relationships caused by confusing games played in modern dating. Chasing Him is a frank but obvious lesson to herself and listeners: don’t be with someone who doesn’t want to be with you.

Lia's combines elements of jazz, pop, Afro-Cuban, Brazilian, classical and hip-hop, along with rapid rhythmic lyrics and complex rhyming schemes to create a kaleidoscopic sound.
