Much like comic book characters Lia Lane is a pseudonym for Australian composer Amelia
Jutilane.
Lia's combines elements of jazz, pop, Afro-Cuban, Brazilian, classical and hip-hop, along with rapid rhythmic lyrics and complex rhyming schemes to create a kaleidoscopic sound.
Lia performs with her large band but also solo with just a piano or percussion instrument as her sidekick.
